Georgia requires 40 hours of supervised driving, including 6 at night.
At least 6 of the 40 hours must be driven at night. FirstGear splits each drive into day and night automatically using local sunset and sunrise.
The learner's permit must be held for at least 1 year and 1 day before moving to the next license stage. FirstGear counts this down from your permit issue date.
Georgia DDS decides what paperwork it accepts, and many states use their own log or certification form signed by a parent or guardian. FirstGear gives you an accurate drive-by-drive record and running totals to complete that form from, plus a PDF you can print. Check with Georgia DDS for the exact form it wants.
